Problems printing PPTs to Handouts in PDF

Hi
I often prepare powerpoint presentations and then handouts for the course
from there.... I have a vista machine and my usual personality (user) can't
print a handout format from Powerpoint! It ties up as it says it is trying
to print page 1. I did create a new user and can print handouts to PDF from
there, but it is a PAIN to have to change users to do that. Do you have any
information about what MAY be hanging this process up in my ONE user but
allowing it in another? Adobe can't help me... .they just suggested trying a
different user and concluded that there is something in the 'securities' of
my user that ties it up? Or something like that. I've reinstalled both
Microsoft and Adobe programs, but problem still exists. HELP!!! if you can,
please!
You can send emails to me at (e-mail address removed)

Other than 'securities', one thing that traditionally has confused Office
applications is temporary files. Therefore, the first thing that I would
to is to check out the folder that %TEMP% environment variable for the
problematic user points to, and empty it. But of course, you should check
the 'securities' too: try giving the problematic user administrator
rights and see if the problem goes away.
