Problems opening a PowerPoint 2000 pres in 2002 version

Hope someone can help. I am having problems when
presentations designed in 2000 are opened in 2002. Not
only has the text changed position, but some of the
pictures are upside down and laterally reversed

Glen's got you on the images; I'll tackle the text.

Probably the machine with 2002 is missing some of the fonts you used
when creating on the 2000 machine. Go to Format/Replace Fonts. Do you
see ?? before any in the list there? If so, those fonts need to be
installed on the 2002 machine. Or you can try embedding them when you
save in 2000. Do a File/Save As, then in the Save As dialog, click the
Tools button. There's an option there to embed true type fonts.
