problems installing vista

When i boot from the vista dvd to install, it starts loading files for a
minute or so... and then it stops.. and i just see a toned down window. How
do i boot correctly? The help files in the doc file on the dvd are missing!

Did you try leaving it run for awhile? The computer periodically reboots and
screen blanks during the installation process. Some members have reported
that on some computers the installation was very slow.
