Problems installing program with Active X control

Trying to install a program for my wife and after the install is complete the
following message comes up.
"The following files did not self-register or un-register. They are all
under System32
dwAXExtn.dll, DWSBC36.OCX, DWSHK36.OCK, DWSPY32.dll, dwspyvb6.dll,
dwspyvb.dll, MISButtn.ocx and MISCal32.ocx and everytime I try to run the
program it crashes when trying to come up. I tried installing the program on
another computer and it installs fine, the only difference between the two is
that the one I'm having problems with has SP2 update where the other doesn't.
I really need to get it installed on this computer as my wife uses this one
for her business and needs that program. The company support is for the birds
as the only thing the guy could tell me was that it was a Windows program and
that I needed to re-install Windows.

read the link you posted and tried doing a scan with Mcafee which is also
suppose to catch spyware and nothing. I deleted some of the files it talked
about but could only find 2 or 3 of them. Couldn't find any problems in
regedit or any folders with a TAM extension. Tried to install the program
again and same problem occurs. Any more help or info would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks

The program is a Pampered Chef program as my wife is a consultant for them.
The program is actually called the Pampered Partner. I've tried thier tech
support but I could get more help from my 10 year old then I got from them.
The last link you supplied what is it for. Thanks for all your help.

Scott,

It looks like something I would steer clear of.

However, you can try this...

This will attempt to unregister the files.
Start | Run | Type:

regsvr32 /u dwAXExtn.dll

Hit the Enter key
Repeat for all the files you listed. Then...

This will attempt to register the files.
Start | Run | Type:

regsvr32 dwAXExtn.dll

Hit the Enter key
Repeat for all the files you listed.
