Problems Installing FP2000 to WindowsXP

FP2000 will come on and then before operating will display
"Microsoft FrontPage application file has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please tell MS about this problem
etc."
I have downloaded updates and have reloaded FP2000, I know that this same
program works with XP on my other computers. Any suggestions?

Do you have any newer versions of MS Office applications installed, if so you may have to un-install
them, then install FP2000, run Office 2000 updates, then re-install the newer versions of Office
apps.
