I bought a template for a web page. I see some files/folders in frontpage
however I can't get the site to come up to see how it looks???can anyone help?

Hi,

You might want to check with vendor as well for how to use their templates.

For example, I bought some templates from CrystalGraphics and all I have to
do is to run their set up program, which will create its own folders and
also put templates into the FrontPage new page template, which is very easy
to use.

With that, all you have to do is to create (or open) a sub-site and use
File, New Page Template from FP and select the one to be used and save it to
the site you created (or opened).

You can also use Import or FPT function to import the template into your
site.

Hope this helps.

You might also pose your question to the vendor from whom
you purchased the template.

The vendor should provide a proper installer or installation instructions

FP installed templates are stored in the folder
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033
- some vendors also put their custom templates there (although they are not supposed to)

Custom user templates should be saved in the folder
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\FrontPage

The actual templates are in subfolders named Pages (for individual pages) and Webs (for webs / sites), as a subsubfolder by the name
of the template
