Problems creating dv-avi movies over 4 gb

Help!!.
when i try to save a big project on the computer as a dv-
avi movies file, i cannot do it & get an alert:

"Your movie cannot be created becouse the movie file
exceeds the 4 gigabyte file size limit".

How to overcome this problme, not by cutting the movie to
chapters.

Hi there,

Files larger than 4GB can only be created on Hard Drives that have been
formatted using the NTFS system

Some Operating Systems like windows 98 can not have file
more than 4GB

You must change your file format from fat 32 to ntfs for windows to recognize file sizes over the 4GB threshold.
