problems BCM 2003 network

I have one computer (laptop) with strange problems. I have install BCM 2003
with SP4. This is the senconde time that i have installed on his computer.
When he is in the compagny and connect to our exhange 2003 he can put in new
contacts. when he have broken the network connection to the exchange server.
the system gives problems and say that he must connect the exchange server.
The database SQL is standing on this one laptop. only the mail he get from
the exchange server. A few weeks ago everything worked perfect when he was
not connect he could also put in new contacts

Exchange has a cached-mode of operations. Try switching that on.
