Problems after Windows XP Pro Clean Install

My secretary got a new computer so we decided we would wipe her old
one and do a clean install of Windows XP Pro and then move the machine
where it could be used by others. The old machine is Aopen Pentium II
350mhz w/384 MB of RAM. It was upgraded from Windows 98 to XP
originally.

The clean install went fine - booted from the Windows XP CD, wiped the
partition, installed Win XP Pro. All good.

Now when I boot the computer up, the startup BIOS screen is reporting
that it is a Pentium II at 175mhz. I didn't make any BIOS changes
before I did the clean install. Any suggestions on what could be
going on here?

In case anyone's interested, here's the solution:

1. From Start, click the Control Panel.
2. Double click the System icon in the Control Panel.
3. Under the hardware tab, click the Device Manager button.
4. From the view menu of the Device Manager, check the Show hidden devices.
5. Double click the NT Apm/Legacy Interface Node.
6. Click the Device usage down arrow of the NT Apm/Legacy Interface Node
Properties dialog box and select Use this device.
7. Click OK to save the settings.
