problem with windows update patches.

I am using IE 6 , Problem is not been able to update the new windows updates.
Just keep failing in downloading the patches,

Getting error
Updates were unable to be successfully installed!!!

Any reason for the problem and how to rectify it please.

I was just posting a one -off in this group and I noticed your message as I
too had problems with this.

I don't even know what your first message said but there is a specific group
for your problem.

Try microsoft.public.windows update
