Problem with TV-out

R

Reno Raines

I have attached my Asus Radeon 4850 with my television. I have used the
SVHS-output on my videocard, a SVHS-composite adaptor and connected it
with the composite video-in on the television.
The problem is that the picture on the television is black&white. I have
heard about this problem before but haven't found any solutions that
worked for my. Suggestions?
I'm running Vista 64-bit and Catalyst drivers.

Let us know how it worked for you, or what other solution you found,
thank you.
Thanks for your replies. I needed a permanent solution with descent
picture quality so I decided to buy a SVHS cabel (price 15 euro) and
connect my video card to my integrated Surround-amp/DVD-player. The
amp/DVD-player is connected (also by SVHS cabel) to my television
through the televisions only input that supports SVHS.
As a remark I discovered that color fix circuits that basically does the
same thing as your solution are available.

Best wishes
