Problem with the microsoft remote control on wmce 2k5

I just purshade a windows media center edition from newegg, and also buy the
remote control for media center 2005 from microsoft, the everything is
working grate, but the remote control some butons doesen't work, like the
back buton, no software came with the remote control and I already try
reinstaling the driver from the mce cd.. any ideas please help,
