problem with starting windows explorer

a friend tried to drag and drop the windows explorer icon in to the tool bar
and ever since then the computer doesn't allow me to open any file or folder
that uses windows explorer please help me restore this problem.

What do you mean by "...the computer doesn't allow me to open any file or
folder that uses windows explorer..."? What exactly are you doing and what
exactly then happens or doesn't happen, any error messages?
