problem with start.exe.dll

trying to install any cd,this error comes up.the other problem is that
its a cd to install a wireless adapter in my pc,so i cant even go on
the internet to download a cure.can anyone help?

The file start.exe.dll doesn't yield hits in the internet search engines,
which means it's probably associated with some virus or other malware you
have on your computer.
