Hi all

I have a big problem, I desabled the RPC by mistake and when I booted everything does not work, I tried to enable it again but when I click on Properties nothing happens, looks like a lot of services did not start because of the RPC service. How can I enable that service from command window

Thank you

Hope this helps

Use your WinXP CD and boot to the Recovery Console (see the below link on how to
use the Recovery Console):

1. Type the following command: Enable RPCSS Service_Auto_Start
2. Press the Enter key
3. Type: exit
4. Press Return
The computer will now restart.
