Problem with Security updated and Windows update

Dear Sir,
If I click windows update in my computer it redirect to msn.com.If i try
updates manually IE8 shows Plain page or It cannot open this page. How to
solve the problem.

And what happens when you uninstall IE8? Does the problem persist when using
IE7?

If you insist on keeping IE8 installed you might want to direct this

Only beta testers should run beta software, such as IE8 Beta. Your first
step should be to uninstall IE8 Beta, which should leave you with IE7.
