Problem with row and column desgination

I am faced with working with numerous large Excel files
in which the rows have numerical designations as usual,
but the columns are also designated with numbers such
that a cell is named 11, 12 etc. This is not compatiable
with all of my other Excel files and experience. How can
I convert these files so that I can intergrate them with
my standard formated files which use the A1, A2, etc.
format?
Thank you for any help as this is a big roadblock for me.

Select "Tools>Options>General" and remove the check mark from "R1C1
Reference Style".
