hi There

I have 2 DC in my network envirment. one has all five FSMO rolles en it is my first window 2000 server in my network.i did install the second DC in the network, both DC's are in the First-Defult-Site
now i have a replication problem between this 2 DC's
lets call them A server and B server,A server is the server with all five FSMO,and DNS and B server is additional DC
when i try to replicate server A to Server B there no problem at all, but when i try to replicate from B to A i recive the error Access Denied,
I would really use your help on this one
ThankX.

I just had this problem. The access denied was caused by the system account password somehow changing. I reset it and replication started again. Might be your problem too. Hope it works for you.

Shahin,

I might suggest that you install the Support Tools on both of your DCs. The
Support Tools can be found on both the WIN2000 Server CD as well as the
WIN2000 Service Pack CD in the Support | Tools folder.

I would run a dcdiag /c /v on both DCs as well as repadmin /showreps and
repadmin /showconns. You also might want to take a look at replmon.

Additionally, you might want to take a look at the following MSKB Article:

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=249256

However, let's make sure that your tcp/ip configurations are correct. All
of your clients ( remember, a DC can be a client as well ) should be
pointing to your Internal DNS Server(s) and not to any external DNS Server
( i.e., your ISP ).

HTH,

Cary
