Problem with .psd profile file

Hello.

First of all, what is .pds file? I tried to create a mandatory profile
for a school server, by following this help:
http://groups.google.fi/[email protected]&output=gplain

Actually it was pretty easy and all, but when I was about to test that
profile by logging a user in, I had this following error message:

Windows cannot create profile directory
\\servername\profiles\profile_name.pds.
You will be logged on with a local profile only.
Changes to the profile will not be propagated to the server.

If you know what file it is and how to solve the problem, please
answer.
I know there are many threads about the subject, but no real solutions
as far as I know.

Hi Lassi,

It usually means you have implemented profiles without having fully read
up on them. Check your USERENV logging. Check all the mappings, check
the permissions on both client and server.
