Problem with Player Director 6.0 and free virtual memory

I have just bought a new Mesh computer - 200GB of memory and 1GB of ram
however, whilst trying to load childrens software I'm coming up with the
message - Director Palyer 6.0 - This program requires at least 3MB of free
virtual memory to run. The system won't therefore load the software.

Any ideas

You kept the older computer that the games worked on, right? Install them on it.
