I have a problem that I don't know how to fix. When I
click on my Outlook icon to open the program I get an
error message that says:

Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Create a new
profile by double-clicking the Mail Icon in Control
Panel, clicking Show Profiles, and then clicking Add.
After creating the new profile, make it your default by
selecting it, and then clicking Always use this profile.

So I then click on Mail Icon in Control Panel and
promptly receive an error message that says:

You need more memory or system resources. Close some
windows and try again.

However, I have no other windows opened. Can someone
help me...please?

What OS and outlook are you using? what is the spec of your pc/laptop?
Free space, ram etc..

Try creating a new profile by:

Right clicking on the Outlook icon
Select "Properties"
Select "Show Profiles" - Add ...

Maybe you can backdoor the control panel without getting
an error?
