Hello there,

Over the last two weeks I've been having a problem with entering in Tasks in
Outlook 2003 SP2. When I try to save a task, I receive the generic error -

Please save the task order by clicking save task order on the actions menu
in the "tasks" folder.
The view must not be filtered or grouped for save taks order to be
available.
Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not
valid.

The steps I've taken to resolve this have been

Save Task order fails
Uninstalling Office 2003 SP1 with a reg clean
Exporting all tasks to a PST leaving a clean task list and trying to enter
in a new one (the PST will import btw)
Trying to enter in a task from a different laptop under my credentials
OWA 2003 does work to enter a task - which is weird
Changing from RPC over HTTP to straight RPC
removing Active Sync and removing tasks from syncing with my Dell Axim
removing Windows Search
enabling trouble shooting logging - but this doesn't appear to show errors
with tasks - neither does the event log

Still the problem exists. I have tried looking for others that have had this
problem occur (http://www.computing.net/office/wwwboard/forum/5119.html) but
thus far no solutions. Any ideas? I hope I won't have to have my Exchange
Mailbox re-created - that would be drastic. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thx.
