Outlook 2007 tasks

Whenever I add a task it is always copied about twice. I'd assumed this
was because I synced two phones with the same info. But I notice I've
got half a dozen 'owners' of tasks.

I'd dearly love to merge or edit all these owners into one person (which
after all is only me).. Some tasks have no owner if grouped using
'owner' Can it be done? Or at least tell Outlook to use only a default
owner. Thanks for any help.

I don't think you can change the owner. You are using a Group by owner view?
Try dragging them to one of the other owner groups - if it fails, it can't
be changed. And yes, its related to syncing. It can also happen if you made
them in a different profile.

You can't change them in any way I know of. I have tried on every version.

The only way is to assign them and that would be a lot of effort.
