problem with outlook sending & recieving

i have just re-installed office 2003 and have discovered a problem with
outlook. i have previously used this version of outlook with no problems at
all.

my query is: when i press the send/recieve button, i get the following
message - "the operation failed. an object could not be found." i have tried
to auto repair with the office cd but to no avail. have also tried to
uninstall and reinstall and again, same problem.

i have recent;y installed broadband - previously had dial-up if this may be
an issue??

Please help, am in dire straits!!

What mail account type do you have configured?
Locate the srs-file of your mail profile and rename it to .old when Outlook
is closed.
If that doesn't work create a new mail profile;
