Walter R.

Don't know where else to look for help but this NG. (Outlook Express comes
as part of Xp Pro)

When I read a message in any newsgroup, and after I have scrolled my way
part-way down the message, the message flips back to the top (start of text)
and I have lost my place. Happens seemingly at random.

Darned nuisance. Has anyone an explanation. Would a repair install of XP Pro
fix this?

Thanks

Your headers (Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1106) tell me
you've not visit Windows Update in quite some time, if ever. You're missing
at least one important critical update and most likely more. Please visit
Windows Update and install all recommended patches for your system. One or
more of them /may/ resolve your problem(s).

To assure a clean install, your anti-virus application should be disabled
and all other running processes closed before going to Windows Update and
when downloading/installing from any MS page.
