Problem with Outlook and attachments

I received an e-mail with 2 attachments (1 pdf and 1 eps) that I need to
forward to a collegue in another country. I have forwarded it 2 times and
the collegue says he can not open it either time.

I tried forwarding it to a collegue here in my office and he received it
with 2 pdf and 2 eps files. He can only open one of the pdf files, the other
gives an error message. I copied myself in to see what came thru- I received
the same e-mail exactly as sent - 1 pdf and 1 eps.

Any idea what could be going on with this? I desperately need to get this to
my collegue overseas as it is holding up a customer order. I printed out the
original pdf and scanned it in and sent it to my collegue as a new file, but
it is supposed to be print ready artwork...so I am concerned that this could
throw off the measurements.

I am running Outlook 2003 SP3 and Windows XP 2002 SP3

Open the attachments, save to a HD location
Reply to the mail and add only these saved attachments

I tried that too. I get the error message "operation failed"
