Problem with openning dos based applications

Dear Sir,

Whenever I am trying to open a DOS based application it is giving 16-bit
error that "c:\>windows\system32\autoexec.nt" can not run the DOS based and
Windows based application" I am unable to fix up the problem.Kindly mail me

Replace the standard version of autoexec.nt/config.nt by copying a backup copy
located in %windir%\repair\ to %windir%\system32\
(NB: %windir% is typically C:\Windows)

This can result from attack by a Trojan, so run a check using up to date
antivirus signatures. A reserve copy of the autoexec.nt file is in
C:\Windows\repair - copy it into windows\system32. But if the trojan is
still around the trouble may arise again at the next boot.
