problem with opening PST file already changed from read only

I get the message "You do not have permission to access this file" when I do
the File,Open, Outlook data file operation to import pst setting to OL 2003.
I copied pst file to c: drive and removed read only on attributes. I checked
the properties and attributes are set to AN and owner is administrator. I am
logged on as administrator in Vista home premium version. Any help would be
appreciated.

You can try running the inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) against the *.PST
file to rule out corruption. (By the way, if this PST file came from a
CD/DVD... was the backup made at a burning speed of <= 4x? Reason I ask is
that I've noticed that PST files backed up to CD/DVD media at speeds faster
than 4x tend to get corrupted.)
