Problem with "My Computer"

Hope someone can help me with this problem.

I recently install PEOPLEPC to try it out, then I uninstalled it.

Now when I open "My Computer" and then doubleclick on a drive, it no
longer "opens" the contents of that drive. Instead, it loads the
"search files" window. If I rightclick on the drive letter then select
"open" it works properly.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Geno

Go to Kelly's site:

and scroll down to line 18, right column 'Search opens when double
clicking a folder.'

Hi Geno,

Lola Falona is right, the body of the message was:

Go to Kelly's site:

and scroll down to line 18, right column 'Search opens when double
clicking a folder.'

Maybe the connection was interrupted when it was downloading the
bodies of the messages.

Good luck

Thanks All,

I checked out that link and it fixed the problem when I doubleclicked
on folders but not when I doubleclicked on a drive letter.

I ended up doing a system restore from the day before I installed
peoplepc and that fixed everything. Thank God for XP!
