problem with My Computer after SP2

After installing SP2 I have the following problem.

When I double click My Computer, the window opens but
instead of my drives there is the flashlight icon that
indicates that it is searching.

When I right-click My Computer and hit Explore, the left
pane displays as usual but the right pane has the same
flashlight searching icon.

I uninstalled SP2 and everything is back to normal with
no flashlight icons. I reinstalled SP2 and again I have
the same problem.

Anyone else having this problem. Does anyone know
anything about this? thanx for reading.
