Problem with multiple mailboxes

If I add a second mailbox to my profile and try to send a message from that
mailbox, all messages come out of my first mailbox inbox, which is wrong.They
should come out of my second.
 
Just to make sure i have this clear...

1) Start a new message
2) Set the FROM field to that of the second mailbox
3) Compose and send
4) Item is in your sent mail and not the second mailbox (this is normal by
the way)

So at this point are you saying that the recipient is seeing the name of
your primary mailbox? Recipient sees a Sent on Behalf notation on the From
line? When you answer this, I need to know if the recipient is an internal
or external to your exchange site.
