Problem with links (_blank)

Every link that opens in a new window won't work.. explorer
"freeze".. i have to press stop and then refresh to get in
to the page.. anyone know what the problem could be?
i've tried everything.. i've installed SP1 for explorer and
searched through my computer with ad-aware but it still
won't work :/

Re-register all DLLs listed in this KB article...

Installing the latest Cumulative Patch for IE may solve the problem as a
side-effect. Check in at Windows Update.

Excellent, thanks very much. I had been struggling with
this for about 2 months, couldn't find anything on the KB
(but then, I guess you need to know where to look !) I
checked out the article you mention below, and hey
presto ! My windows now appear again. I only needed to
go as far as registering the DLLs, I didn't need to look
at the registry or do a re-install.
