Problem With Internet Explorer

D

David Lynch

Within the past week I no longer can open more than one
thing at a time. When I open the internet explorer, it
goes right to my Yahoo home page without any problem. As
soon as I click on the internet explorer again to open
another home page I get a message that says internet
explorer has encountered a problem and must shut down.
It then lets me notify microsoft of the error and then
shuts down that page. My original is fine but now I can
only have one thing open at a time. This is very
frustrating. I have all the windows updates and patches,
I have McAfee running and updating constantly. I have
run the scandisk, defraged, cleaned windows and ever
tried restoring to an earlier date. I am using windows
home xp. I don't know if this is the proper forum for
getting some help but I sure could use some. Thanks in
advance. I have also run virus scan and there are no
virus showing. HELP!

David,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
