TFBnet
We are TFBnet, a small ISP in Fallbrook and have a question about a problem
with one of our users. they cannot access IE and here are a few things we
have tried having them do to resolve where the issue lies.
1. Had EU connect to DUN and they connected fine.
2. Had the EU try to bring up various pages (www.google.com, www.tfb.com,
www.msn.com, ect.) and got page cannot be displayed every time.
3. Had the EU run IP Config and ping (ping command in the command prompt)
his IP Address and gateway and got ping results back.
4. Had the EU ping our DNS server and they got results back.
5. Had the EU ping www.google.com and it resolved the domain and pings came
back.
6. Checked LAN settings in IE and everything is un-checked.
7. Unchecked TCP/IP in the DUN properties and restarted then re-checked it
and that did not help.
8. Had the EU disable their Microsoft Firewall as well as any antivirus
program they had running, and that did not help either.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
