Problem with home page

Marianne

I am running XP-Pro on an HP machine, purchased last
August. The problem I'm having is that I have Yahoo.com
set as my home page. When I boot up the machine, the page
changes to res://mshp.dll/sp.html#/22776. It's doing this
in the registry under local machine and user. I change the
registy with regedit.exe and still, next time I boot up,
the settings are back to this weird webpage. It appears to
be a Microsoft page, but I don't think it is. It's a
search engine, but I want yahoo.com as the default, not
this page. I've got the firewall on, updated all windows
updates, did a complete virus scan, yet still can't find
which program is doing this.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. You can e-mail me or
post here. I'll check back.

Thanks much.
