Problem with history

My brother came over and used my computer last week and now my history is
wonky. I have no idea why.

I have MSIE set to keep my history for 14 days, and it still does, sort of
.... but not quite right.

I can only see the history for the current day. After the day ends, I can
still see the day listed (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.), but when I click
on a day, I can't see any of the sites I've visited. It's as if the history
(or perhaps the cache?) is clearing each day. But I don't know why, when I
have the history set to save for 14 days.

Can anyone tell me how to fix it so that it's normal again?

Hi,
History problems can be caused by the ActiveX Control filters in McAfee
AntiVirus. If you disable the "Active X Controls" filter under the Internet
Filters in VirusScan the IE History should work properly.

Or... Your History folder may be damaged.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder and a new one will be created when you restart.

Or the History folder can be deleted manually:

Hope this helps,
