Problem with HDD and XP

Hi,

When i try to add a certain harddisk to my configuration,
xp recognises the harddisk but does not want to attach a drive letter to it.
When i try with another brand of harddisk, XP doesn't boot.

Error 0x0000007b (0xF993F640,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)

Is there someone who could help me?

You are missing one or more components to make that hard drive work. You
can let the tools figure it out for you by adding the hard disk to your
system, boot into Win2k/WinXP/WinPE and rerunning TAP.EXE. The new
devices.pmq should have the appropriate information. Compare the new .pmq
with the old .pmq or import the new .pmq and compare with the component
created for the old imported .pmq.

I don't understand question.

Do you have working Windows XP, and you want to add second HDD, and then
that XP crashes?
