Problem with geforce2 mx400

I believe I am having problems with the mx400 driver/s. When I have a
driver installed I cannot load windows (freezes at loading screen) and
when I have no driver installed I can load windows but can't run
programs that have graphics..my monitor just cuts out..
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Operating system is????? Anyway, for 2000/XP boot with generic vga driver ,
hook up to Windows update, download their certified NVIDIA drivers, install
and reboot. Come to think of it, you do this with 9x as well. See if this
cures it. MS's driver isn't the fastest but it's stable. And speed is not an
issue with a Geforce2MX

geforce2 mx400 is Nvidia...
