problem with forwarded mail in Outlook 2003

I have outlook 2003. When someone sends me a forwarded email from a web
email account (this shows up as an attachment), and I try to open it. I get
a "problem opening form see administrator for help" Message and will not open
the mail. If I view this on the web before I download it, I can read the
forwarded content..

Any suggestions?

What's the extension for the attachement? Perhaps your virus scanning
software is doing something with these messages.

I am having a similar problem with Outlook 2003. Until recently I have been
able to open all attchments. A few days ago i found that I am not able to
open forwarded emails from friends. I AM able to open files with JPG, WMV
extensions, but not forwarded emails. I thought maybe I could uninstall
Outlook and reinstall it but I'd rather not go through that process if i can
avoid it. I would appreciate any help.
