Problem with Folder/File Task Pane in My Pictures

Hello,
I have Win XP SP2 and all of the latest updates installed and have
thoroughly been enjoying it until I had this problem..

I frequently go to MY PICTURES and select a photo to E-MAIL to someone and
always plan to use MAKE PHOTO SMALLER option. Latley when I click the
"E-mail this file" option, NOTHING happens.

Is there any help to repair this feature?
