Hi:

I have a DSL internet connection. I have one computer
that acts as the server of my house, and from that
computer I connect 3 more computers to the net. I make
this using the network wizard of windows. It configures
everything in my computer. The problem I have is that it
makes firewalls.

Now, I really don't like the firewalls, but I don't know
how to take them out. I really need it because I use
several programs with which I really need to know the
ports I have to use, but I don't know them and I don't
know where to see information about them.

So can anybody tell me how to take out the firewall or
where can I see information about the ports?

TIA

Antonio R.

Right click on the connection in network connections select
properties. Go to advanced and disable the firewall. I
suggest you download zone alarm though - it allows you to
set your computers as trusted and everything else as
internet, and provides different levels of security
