problem with exporting outlook address book

Trying to export Outlook 2000 Address book to a .CSV
file. I carefully map out all the fields I want to
transfer but when I check the excel spreadsheet it
creates, the email field has "SMTP contact first name
contact e-mail address" added onto the back of the e-mail
address. If I import these onto my new computer, the e-
mail addresses are now bogus and I get an error message
if I try to send out e-mail with that address.

Anybody else had this happen?

What mail client are you importing into on the new computer, if it is
Outlook then export from Outlook as a pst

If you're trying to move your Outlook data from one PC to another, don't
