Problem with Event Viewer

Folks

When I try to open up Event Viewer, I'm told it is not available and to
check the service is running.

I've checked the services, and everything appears to be peachy.

Is there a gotcha here, or is there something I've missed.

There's 2 services there for Event Viewer

Windows Event Log
Windows Event Collector

It's the 'Windows Event Log' one that needs to be running.
