There are certain problem files from now old versions of Both DVD
playing software and other media playing programs/editors. There is a
program on my website www.the-kellys.org in the Video section that will
search your C drive (It usually takes less than 8 seconds for the whole
drive as opposed to the minutes that the Microsoft search engine takes) It
will list any of the known about codecs. You then select them by placing a
check mark against the codec and press "RENAME" you reverse this afterwards
by using the program again to put those files back into their original
condition. It is advisable to reboot after each use of my program...it puts
Windows into the right frame of mind....
