problem with dual processors

Fresh install of W2K adv. serv.
Second processor fluxuates between 25 and 75 percent load
immediatly upon bootup.

Watching the processes on task manager, explorer.exe,
csrss.exe, and taskmgr.exe appear to be the culprits.

The computer is running poorly

Any thoughts?

Take a look at this article:

Another poster in this group with a similar problem reported this fixed the
issue, although their motherboard was not in the list in that article. The
resolution was to update the BIOS to the latest available revision.
