problem with contacts ....

We are sharing an outlook contacts folder which has over 4000 contacts.
Recently the folder got corrupt, and all contatcs were doubled.
I found the reason: the maximum size of a shared contacs folder is 2mb ...
our folder was 3.5mb.
The problem is that we can't split this folder, it should remain 1 folder.
Is there another way to share contacts via outlook, but without the 2mb
limit? Other software/plugins?

but not as big as exchange server or smth like tthat.
I tried some tools from slipstick, but they weren't that good :/

Are you using Exchange? If so, is there a reason you need to limit the size
of the folder?

No, we aint using exchange server, because we are only a small company with
20 people.
Is there another solution without using exchange server?
