I'm sorry, I should've made it clear. I mean by that when
I look at file type, I'm not sure what to delete or look
for under that category in order for the "Always ask
before opening this type of file" window pops up again on
my computer, as I do want it back when I click on a
download link and have options to either save or open it.

Nobody asked you to delete anything.

You look at the file type you are having the problem with, i.e. the
one. you answered "Yes, Dont ask me again"

The file type list is just a list of files that shows what your computer
will do with files that have specific extensions. If you take the extension
OFF the list, the computer will HAVE to ask you next time what you want to
do with it. Click Advanced, and you can see more about this.

You are not deleting any files if you delete a list item in the Registered
file types list. By deleting a file type, you are FORCING the computer to
ask you again how you want to handle that type of file.
