Problem with ADSL internet

Hi to all, I have a modem Trust MD 4050 and Adsl with 4 M. All work fine for
long time, once day the internet stopped. I turn on modem and PC and the
connection didn't work. Now I can connect only with diagnostic option. I saw
when happen this problem the web page the modem it was impossible open so I
did reset the modem-router to see the page. I putted the username and pass.
But the only way to go in internet is click one or two time diagnostic more
I formatted hard disk and replace windows
How can I in auto connect how before ?

You may have PPPoE. Check out
Microsoft.public.it.windowsxp
Microsoft.public.it.windows.vista
Since you are using windows mail I would suspect that you are using
vista.
