Problem with Address Book

W

William Gower

When I try to open my address book, I get an error saying that

The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened blah blah

I click ok. It opens up the Address book.

I open the combo box "Show Names from the: I have four contacts listed in
the combo box. The last one is the only one that has contacts in it. How
do I get rid of the other contacts that are invalid and associate the last
one with my address book?

See if you can remove them from your address book by Tools-> E-mail
Accounts. Otherwise remove the Address Book service from your profile,
restart Outlook and add the service again.

Remove the invalid entries to Contacts Folders here:
Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address
books > Outlook Address Book > Change. >
