problem with a report

I am having a problem with a previously working report. I
have a simple database using Access XP that tracks certain
types of student info. There is one main table with
multiple cells, 3 of which are look up values. I populate
the main table through a form. I generate 2 reports based
on this table. One is an alphabetical list of all
students, the other has the students grouped by teacher.
Today I added several new students (using the form). When
I ran the reports, the new students showed up in the
report grouped by teacher but not the alphabetical list of
all students. I checked the main table and made sure that
the students had been added to it, yet I can't get them to
appear in the report. The alphabetical list worked well
when I used it previously so I don't think it is a problem
with it's design unless something has somehow been
changed. Any thoughts?

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that something is missing in a lookup
field.
